Inversion of confluent Vandermonde matrices (Q1609084)

The authors describe a simple recursive algorithm for inverting confluent Vandermonde matrices. Based on the Leverrier-Faddeev algorithm concerning the resolvent of a square matrix, the algorithm essentially computes, column by column one block of the inverse confluent Vandermonde matrix at a time. Using it, the authors derive an explicit formula of the confluent Vandermonde matrix inverse.
