This paper is devoted to the eigenvalue asymptotics for the case higher-order elliptic boundary value problem involving an indefinite weight. So far obtaining results were done under the restriction that the order of the operator exceeds the dimension of the underlying Euclidean space in which the problem is set. Here the author establishes the eigenvalue asymptotics for the case of higher-order operators without any such restriciton.
