The present paper is an interesting study on local versions of metric uc-ness, hypertopologies and function space topologies. The term uc-ness means some continuity is uniform. Among some nice results, the authors characterize a metric uc-ness of local nature as a uniform separation property. More accurately the metric uc-ness can be characterized as the uniform normality, which means any two disjoint nonempty closed sets have a positive distance apart. Finally, by reformulating uc-ness, the authors prove a relationship between hypertopologies and an agreement between function space topologies.
