    The paper under review studies the following questions: Does every interior point of a \(3\)-dimensional convex body \(C\) lie on a planar section with an \(C\)-inscribed regular hexagon, and does the center of a centrally symmetric \(3\)-dimensional convex body \(C\) lie on a planar section with an \(C\)-inscribed regular octagon. The author proves these properties for special type of cylinders.
