The author proposes an iterative method for the solution of semilinear parabolic problems. A nonlinear two-time level implicit difference scheme is worked out for the problem. A modified accelerated monotone iterative criterion is evolved. Some theorems on the existence and uniqueness of the nonlinear difference scheme are proved followed by numerical experiments on reaction-diffusion and convection-reaction-diffusion problems.
