The authors consider a discrete version of the Bers-Vekua equation and construct a representation formula for the homogeneous case. This representation factorizes into two functions, just as in the continuous equation. The results are applied to the inhomogeneous case. The factorization is also given for the quaternionic case of the homogeneous equations.
