One of the main results of the theory of generalized analytic functions is the similarity principle which establishes a close relation between solutions of the Vekua equation and analytic functions. The authors consider the discrete Vekua equation and prove a discrete analogue of the similarity principle which is an important step in developing the theory of discrete generalized analytic functions and their applications.
