A pairing in a monoidal category consists of three objects \(A\), \(B\), and \(C\), and a morphism \(A\otimes C\to B\). The obvious category of pairings, and subcategories obtained by fixing one of the objects \(A\), \(B\), or \(C\), are defined. Fixing a comonoid \(C\), the author finds that the monoids in that monoidal bicategory of pairings are measurings.
