The authors establish results about \(|\overline N,p_n |_k\) summability, for \(k \geq 1\), by replacing the concept of ``almost increasing sequences'' considered by \textit{S. M. Mazhar} [Bull. Inst. Math., Acad. Sin. 25, 233--242 (1997; Zbl 0885.40004)] by the notion of quasi-power increasing sequences, introduced by \textit{L. Leindler} [Publ. Math. 58, 791--796 (2001; Zbl 0980.40004)].
