The solution set of a quadratic system of linear equations is characterized by a set of inequalities if bounds on the right hand side, as well as bounds on the coefficient matrix are known. Restricting the coefficient matrix to particular cases, namely symmetric, skew-symmetric, persymmetric, Toeplitz and Hankel matrices, respectively, the authors generalise several results documented in the literature.
