Jasp is a general purpose server/client statistical system and DAVIS is a visualization system. Both Jasp and DAVIS are written in Java. The authors propose a mechanism which allows to perform statistical data processing on the server-side using Jasp functions while the visualization process of DAVIS is performed on the client-side. This combined system may be used as a platform for developing new visualization methods, since it is easily mixed with other Java-systems.
