The Goursat problem in its standard form is solved using Adomian's decomposition method. The methodology is illustrated by studying suitable Goursat examples -- linear and nonlinear -- to establish analytical solutions for these problems. Numerical experiments confirm the superiority of the method, related to the accuracy level, over the existing techniques.
