The authors develop the method of constrained reconstructions for treating ill-conditioned inverse imaging problems. The method allows to incorporate different a priori information about the object into the solution. To solve a general integral equation a finite element method for forward and inverse simulations is applied. The same method is used to reconstruct the current distribution in the case of current discontinuities arising by producing of the current injection. Many graphical results illustrate the good efficiency of the method.
