Let \(G\subset\text{GL} (n,\mathbb{C})\) be a connected reductive subgroup. The author presents an example \((n=28\), \(G=\text{SL} (3,\mathbb{C}))\) for the phenomenon, that the topological closure of a conical \(G\)-orbit in \(\mathbb{C}^n\) contains a non-conical \(G\)-orbit.
