The paper studies the oscillations of nonequilibrium compressible ellipsoids, using the results of \textit{L. F. Rossner} [Astrophys. J. 149, 145-168 (1967; Zbl 0168.22904)]. Ordinary differential equations expressed in terms of semi-diameters, angular velocity, vorticity, and central temperature, are given. They, together with an adiabatic equation, are numerically integrated to show the behaviour of the ellipsoid.
