Uncertainty structures in adaptive and robust stabilization (Q1905920)

The authors consider linear uncertain systems of the form \(\dot x = [A_0 + \Delta A(s)] x + [B_0* \Delta B(s)] u\) where \(s \in S \subset \mathbb{R}^{n_s}\) represents unknown parameters; also \(A_0\) and \(B_0\) are unknown. For this class of systems, several relationships between parametric robust control and adaptive control are investigated. In particular, adaptive strategies based on certainty equivalence and on Lyapunov design are compared.
