    A new additive finite difference scheme for parabolic equations with nonlinear convection terms is proposed and studied. The authors derive a scheme which has none of the deficiencies of the know schemes for such problems: nonmonotonicity, excessive computational work needed in schemes with exponential fitting and/or loss of stability in the Thoma algorithm for tridiagonal systems.
