A three-scale periodic model is used to describe gas flows with adsorption through fractured porous media. The local descriptions at both pore scale and fracture scale are obtained using the Navier-Stokes equations. The macroscopic behavior is derived via the three-scale homogenization method. The model exhibits memory effects and nonlinearities, being strongly influenced by the flow in pores.
