(From authors' summary.) By means of a new eddy viscosity modelling of turbulence the distributional laws of the eddy viscosity tensor components for two-dimensional turbulent boundary layer are obtained by using experimental results on turbulent boundary layer on flat plate. The distribution of mean flow velocities for two-dimensional turbulent boundary layer with adverse pressure gradient is forecasted accurately and conveniently, and the results compare fairly with experimental data.
