A method for the design of a discrete regulator with a specified arrangement of the closed-loop system poles is proposed. The parameters of the regulator are determined so that the dynamic characteristics of the system are close to those of its implicit model which determines the desired behaviour of the output signal. An algorithm for indirect adaptive control which uses a recurrent estimation of the plant model parameters is implemented. Results of simulation of a system with the proposed regulator and a second-order plant are presented.
