Summary: We study a class of boundary value problems for equations of the form \[ x''(t) + f(t, x(t), x'(t - \tau)) = 0. \] Some sufficient conditions for the existence of a positive solution are obtained by using the Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem in cones.
