This paper studies unsteady internal waves in stratified and rotating fluids excited by oscillating curvilinear segments.The authors analyse the classical solvability of the initial-boundary value problem for ''non-Boussinesq'' internal-wave equation that describes the excitation of two-dimensional oscillatory motion of an exponentially stratified fluid by a two-sided curvilinear segment.
