The generalized polynomial complementarity problem is a subclass of generalized complementarity problems with two polynomials. With the aid of degree theory, the authors study the nonemptiness and compactness of solution sets. They also establish some interesting existence and uniqueness results. One of the hightlights is the new classes of tensors and tensor pairs.
