The article is devoted to the following A. A. Albert's problem (1965) [Pac. J. Math. 15, 377--404 (1965; Zbl 0135.07202)]: whether every Albert division algebra (of characteristic not 2 or 3) contains a cyclic cubic subfield. In the present article the author shows that every Albert division algebra has an isotope that contains a cyclic cubic subfield.
