The authors consider a Frank-Wolfe-type theorem for the existence of global solutions of nonconvex cubic programming (CP) problems under suitable assumptions. Necessary/sufficient conditions for the compactness of the solution set of the CP problem are presented. Sufficient conditions for the solvability for quadratic variational inequalities problems are proposed. The presented numerical results illustrate the obtained results and also show that the existing results cannot apply.
