A spin-perturbation for minimal surfaces (Q2042262)

The author introduces the notion of \(SP\)-minimal surface, that is a critical point of the volume functional of an immersion perturbation through a Dirac action. In particular, under some assumptions on the energy-momentum tensor, the author shows that there are relations between \(SP\)-minimal surfaces and Dirac harmonic maps similar to those existing between minimal surfaces and harmonic maps.
