Summary: We show that prime Fano threefolds \(Y\) of genus 8 have a multiplicative Chow-Künneth decomposition, in the sense of \textit{M. Shen} and \textit{C. Vial} [The Fourier transform for certain hyperkähler fourfolds. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (2016; Zbl 1386.14025)]. As a consequence, a certain tautological subring of the Chow ring of powers of \(Y\) injects into cohomology.
