Inviscid quasigeostrophic flow, which is the asymptotic limit of 3D Euler equations as the Rossby number tends to \(0\), is considered on bounded cylindrical domains of the form \(\Omega\times[0,h]\times[0,T]\). After a reduction to an elliptic problem with nonstandard boundary condition, the existence of classical solutions is proved for suitable data.
