In this article, the authors propose a new finite difference method to obtain the numerical solution of the system of boundary-value problems for second-order ordinary differential equations arise in quantum chemistry. The local truncation errors of the proposed method are obtained. Stability analysis of the scheme is carried out. Numerical examples are solved by the proposed method and the results are compared with earlier methods.
