Nondegeneracy and uniqueness of periodic solution for a neutral differential equation (Q2211113)

This paper investigates the existence and uniqueness of \(\omega\)-periodic solutions for the second-order linear neutral differential equation \[ (x(t)-cx(t-\tau))''=a(t)x(t)\] where \(|c| = 1\), \(\tau\) is a constant with \(0 \le \tau<\omega\), and \(a\in L^p(\mathbb{R})\) (\(1 \le p < \infty\)) is an \(\omega\)-periodic function.
