A Korovkin type theorem is established related to a sequence of multivariate positive linear operators which are defined for functions belonging to a class generated by a multivariable function of modulus of continuity. As application the uniform convergence of the sequence of multivariate Bleimann, Butzer and Hahn operators is obtained, and the monotonicity of these operators is studied when the attached function is convex.
