The authors consider a model of an infinite disk motion in a gas with friction described as collision of the gas particles with the disk. The gas is compressible. Symmetry assumptions, including infiniteness of the disk, allow the reduction to a single spatial dimension. The focus is on establishing uniqueness of the solution under the assumption that the driving force is Lipschitz-continuous.
