The authors present results and definitions related to the L-infinity pairs. In order to develop the theory of cohomology jump subfunctors of L-infinity pairs, so they get a generalization of the theory given in [\textit{N. Budur} and \textit{B. Wang}, Compos. Math. 151, No. 8, 1499--1528 (2015; Zbl 1348.14026)] in case of differential graded Lie algebra pairs. Consequently they show that every deformation problem with cohomology constraints is controlled by a typically finite-dimensional L-infinity pair. Lastly the authors apply the theory of L-infinity pairs to present conditions under which the irreducible components of the cohomology jump loci containing the constant sheaf are tori.
