The authors present a complete analysis of the rectangular Morley element scheme for second-order problems in arbitrary dimensions. They provide a more careful analysis for the energy norm of the error for uniform triangulations. In this case, and for convex domains, an \(\mathcal{O}(h^{1.5})\) convergence rate is shown. Numerical experiments are also presented.
