The author classifies positively curved self-dual Einstein Hermitian metrics constructed by Galicki and Lawson on the weighted projective planes and therewith determine which of the \(3\)-Sasakian \(S ^ 1\)-reductions of the \(11\)-dimensional sphere possess canonical variation metrics of positive sectional curvature.
