An explicit formula, derived by \textit{the second and third author} [Rocky Mt. J. Math. 33, No. 3, 1101--1122 (2003; Zbl 1074.11059)], is applied to calculate the conductor of a parametrized family of cyclic quintic number fields, which were discovered by \textit{O. Lecacheux} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 40, No.2, 237--253 (1990; Zbl 0739.11023)].
