Checking combinational circuits by the method of logic complement (Q2577216)

A new complement based logic structure of combinational circuits (CC) is investigated. An analytical method to calculating the complement function for the \(1/n\)-code is proposed. Necessary and sufficient conditions for fully checking of the \(1/n\)-checker are obtained. Proposed method was applied for investigation of the concrete CC and results of comparison of the logic complement method with known methods are given. It is shown that a proposed method allows designing the fully self-testing CC even in cases when known method fail.
