    Robust stabilization of interval plants using, proportional, integral and derivative (P, PI and PID) controllers is investigated. To reduce the risk of fragility due to sensitivity to controller parameters, the paper proposes choosing the controller parameters that are furthest away from the boundaries of the region of the parameter space that yields robust stability.
