Gödel and Quine on meaning and mathematics (English)
0 references
The paper is devoted to the discussion and comparison of Gödel's and Quine's views on meaning and mathematics. Some of Gödel's arguments are extended to Quine's view of mathematics. It is shown that Quine's view fails to reconcile mathematics with empiricism.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0961.00010].
