Continuous finite-time control (English)

The paper deals with the stabilization problem for nonlinear systems. The main goal is to construct feedback laws guaranteeing finite time convergence to the origin. The attention is focused on single input, two-dimensional affine systems which are small time locally controllable and analytic.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEHomogeneous approximation with respect to a dilation is exploited in order to construct a fractional power control. Based on these results, the authors also consider finite-time observers and finite-time output stabilizability. Applications to robot control end the paper.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0968.00022].
