The paper considers a spectral problem to which the studying of normal oscillations of the rotating hydrosystem ``viscous fluid + system of ideal fluids'' is reduced. The asymptotic formulas for a part of the eigenvalue branches and the statement about the limiting spectrum of the problem are obtained.
