In regard to terminology in differential and integral calculus, the author regards the books (1870-1873) of Wladyslaw Folkierski (1842-1904) as most influential, with Wladyslaw Zajączkowski (1837-1898) making important contributions in the creation of Polish terminology in higher analysis. There are sections on the terminology of higher geometry, the calculus of probabilities, higher algebra, and set theory. Polish-language writing on elementary probability is already present in publications of Jan Śniadecki in 1817 and Kajetan Garbiński (1795-1847) in 1823, which is early relative to Russian-language beginnings.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0964.00033].
