The author considers an unbounded linear elastic body with planar internal elliptic crack. It is assumed that its edges are subjected to the equal in value but opposite in direction lumped forces whose line of action is perpendicular to the crack plane and goes through its center. The author obtains the formula for determining the edge displacements of the elliptic crack.
