The paper presents the results of experimental investigations of turbulent friction on longitudinally streamlined cylinder and cylinder with elastic coating. Experiments are carried out in a range of Reynolds numbers \(10^{6}\div2\cdot10^{7}\) when a water polyoxiethylen solution is supplied to near wall area through a nose slot. For the analog of external hydrobionts covers at complex action, the increase of hydrodynamic efficiency is obtained in comparison with the application of separate factors.
