The first five chapters of this large paper are a survey of many earlier published results of T. Kepka, J. Ježek, P. Polák, P. Němec, O. Ore and M. Sholander and so on. The further chapters are devoted to cancellative semimedial, trimedial, medial and paramedial groupoids. Here, many results are new. Various imbeddings of cancellative groupoids into quasigroups make the main idea of the research. Open problems are presented to study in the end of every part.
