A nodal inverse problem for a quasi-linear ordinary differential equation in the half-line (Q281646)

The inverse nodal problem is studied for the boundary value problem NEWLINE\[NEWLINE -(|u'|^{p-2}u')'=\lambda \sigma(t)|u|^{p-2}u,\; t\geq 0,\; p>1, NEWLINE\]NEWLINE NEWLINE\[NEWLINE u(0)=0,\;\; u(t)t^{-1/2}=o(1),\; t\to\infty. NEWLINE\]NEWLINE A procedure for the solution of the inverse problem is given and the uniqueness of the solution is proved.
