Analytical approach to the study of the boundary effect in a one-dimensional randomized numerical algorithm for adaptive mesh generation (English)
0 references
This paper presents a brief survey of algorithms which enable to get adaptive meshes of points placed according to the given distribution density. Critical analysis is performed of analytical approaches to a description of the randomized method for adaptive mesh generation. A recurrent approach is proposed, which enables to find the averaged positions of the mesh hubs. An analytical description of the boundary effect is presented.
