The authors consider complete metric spaces with another function \(p\), which is almost a metric (the condition \(d(x,y) = 0\Leftrightarrow x=y\) is replaced by two other conditions). They consider Kannan type transformations with such \(p\) and present some fixed point theorems, the proofs of which are standard.NEWLINENEWLINESome interesting examples would be welcome.
