The purpose of this paper is to prove global existence and asymptotic limits for a compressible Navier-Stokes equation.NEWLINENEWLINEThe dimensionless Navier-Stokes system is rewritten in the form (1). The main theorem states that the system (1) posesses a unique global solution for a certain linear stability criterion.NEWLINENEWLINEThe proofs use the Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion and Lyapunov functions.
