This paper presents a Kalikow-type decomposition for interacting multicolor systems on \(Z^d\) having real state space and interactions of infinite range. The approach which is herein followed is the probabilistic one which is based on an detailed construction of the dynamics, and provides probabilistic insight into the structure of the stationary law of the process, without using combinatorial or complex-analysis techniques. Two applications of this decomposition techniques are provided. In the first one, a simulation algorithm is presented and in the second one a coupling attaining the \(d\)-distance for two ordered Ising probability measures is constructed.
